§ 4.10.020. Fee generally.

  • All temporary shows, exhibitions or places of amusement wherein a fee is charged for admission, shall pay a license fee of fifty dollars per day; provided, that a license may be issued by the city supervisor without charge for any show or entertainment under the auspices or direction of any nonprofit society, lodge or church; provided further, that if the temporary business employs five or fewer persons, the license fee shall be ten dollars per day. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, permanent shows, exhibitions and amusement businesses shall be required only to pay the business license required in Chapter 4.04 and need not purchase an amusement license. A business shall be considered permanent if it operates in the city forty-five consecutive days per year.
