Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter
or any lawful rule or regulation adopted by the city clerk pursuant thereto, shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished
by a fine in any sum not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment
in the Town jail for a term not exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
