§ 3.112.010. Imposed.

There is imposed a crime prevention assessment in the amount of one hundred twenty-five dollars, to be paid by criminal defendants upon conviction of each and any nontraffic crime committed in the city. The assessment shall be in addition to any fine, penalty or cost or assessment imposed, and may not be waived or suspended unless otherwise unlawful. Funds received from the crime prevention assessment shall be used for crime prevention purposes.
