§ 2.26.010. Legal holidays.

(a)

Unless otherwise determined by the city manager, city hall shall be open to conduct regular city business weekdays from eight a.m. to five p.m., provided that the city shall recognize the following holidays:

1.

First day of January;

2.

Third Monday in January;

3.

Third Monday in February;

4.

Last Monday in May;

5.

Fourth of July;

6.

First Monday of September;

7.

Eleventh of November;

8.

Thanksgiving Day;

9.

Day after Thanksgiving;

10.

Christmas Day.

(b)

If one of the holidays above mentioned falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed as the holiday. If one of the holidays above mentioned falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be observed as the holiday.
